The purpose of this blog is to provide a personal prospective of couples in a relationship.  This prospective is largely influenced by the forty one years of marriage with my wife Judy and the cultural belief that has impacted our lives over those year. We don’t expect that everyone who reads our blog to agree with us however it is our hope that what we share with you will be of some benefit as well as an invitation for other couples to share some thoughts and experiences with us.

My wife and I were very young when we married and modern view points often speak against marrying this young. Looking back in hindsight I can say now this was probably one of the best decisions we ever made. Out of curiosity  I often ask people  “How old should a person be before they get married?” It is amazing the answers I get.  My wife and I dated one year then married. Over the years we have been asked, “What are the keys to having a lasting relationship?” this question along with other questions are some of the questions that we hope will be interesting conversations for our reading audience.
